The story is about a small town that is visited by a Little Cloud that decides to overstay its welcome. After the cloud snowed continuously for many weeks, the fun in the snow ended and the town’s folks needed food and wood to survive. Then a little boy gets an idea and goes up onto the mountain and asks the cloud why it keeps snowing, and never goes. The Cloud answers, “Because no one ever asked me to leave,” and with that the little cloud left and the sun came out and the snow melted away. From that day on, if a little cloud came by and stayed too long, it was asked politely to leave and it went on its way.
